Problem:

  • When updating the status in Magento using the button "Refresh Ingenico payment status", the error "The data you entered is not correct. Please retry" appears.
  • However, placing orders works without problems.


Solution:

  • Check if the username and password for the API-user are correct.
  • In the Ingenico-account, the option "Direct Link (Query)" needs to be activated. This can be found in the standard-options. Depending on the subscription, an upgrade might be necessary to make this option available.
  • The DirectLink Maintenance API URL in the Magento backend must be correct. Note the difference between test and prod.
